Andrew Gallagher


For the past 14 years, Andrew has been developing healthcare products derived from plants for the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare markets. His experience covers the full value chain, from early discovery to clinical development and commercialisation. Andrew’s focus over the past few years has been in metabolic health, where he helped develop Reducose and oversaw the clinical trial program.

Andrew holds several academic degrees including an MBA in Finance, MSc in Biology, BSc Honours in Biological Science, and a BSc in Chemistry and Cell Biology. Andrew is currently working part-time on a PhD in Health Economics where is researching the cost effectiveness of lifestyle interventions for treating chronic diseases.
