Reducose® was developed through decades of botanical and metabolic health research. Our scientific team combines expertise in ethnobotany, clinical science, human nutrition and plant-based therapeutics to translate traditional plant knowledge into modern, evidence -based health solutions.
Andrew Gallagher has over 18 years of experience developing plant-based healthcare products across prescription, over-the-counter, and consumer wellness markets. His work spans research, clinical development, and commercialization of botanical ingredients. Andrew holds an MSc in Biology from the University of Natal and an MBA from the University of Leicester.
Dr. Preeti is a clinical research specialist focused on metabolic health and evidence-based nutrition. She supports the development and validation of plant-derived ingredients through human clinical studies and translational research. Her work helps ensure botanical ingredients like Reducose are backed by strong scientific evidence and high standards of safety and quality.
Dr. Lisa Offringa is a medical and nutritional ethnobotanist specializing in plant-based health solutions. She earned her PhD in Plant Sciences from The New York Botanical Garden and CUNY and completed postdoctoral research at Stanford University. Her work translates botanical research into evidence-based products supporting metabolic and blood sugar health.
Michael Lane leads the scientific strategy behind Reducose, including research, clinical trials, regulatory work, and scientific partnerships. With a background in chemistry and life-science strategy, he helps advance plant-derived health solutions globally. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and an MBA from the University of Warwick.
Reducose® is a patented water extract from white mulberry leaves designed to support healthy blood sugar levels after meals. With a scientifically proven mechanism of action, it works by partially inhibiting the alpha-glucosidase enzyme responsible for breaking down refined carbohydrates.
