Beer, wine and alcoholic drinks get most of their calories from the alcohol itself, and Reducose® doesn’t impact alcohol digestion. Some of the disaccharides like maltose in beer might be affected, but they really aren’t the calorie culprit in beer.

Great question! Because of its glucose lowering effects, when combined with diabetes medications, there is a potential for additive effects on blood sugar levels. This could theoretically lead to hypoglycemia if not properly managed.
